Internet - October 2006

I liked IE6 so much better. Everything was much faster....games, home page, etc. How do I go back to IE6?

I am ask to upload a photo to my profile on my Members page,I upload the photo yet it goes to my Yahoo!Photos page,and then I am asked to hit the select button and the photo will be automatically added to my profile in my Yahoo!Members page.I can't find the select button.The only one I find is select photos button and it only takes the photo to my photo albums.

OK...so my internet explorer is weird....the thing is that it has a small font...i didn't change anything nor did i change any options...the first thing is that i go to a webpage(any) and it has its regular font...but i got to another webpage and i can barely read it...

I have hoped beyond all hope that they would replace this with another advertisement, they seemed to for a day or two and then, poof! he was back! This seems like the most irritating thing to pop up on my home page, not to mention gross

For the past 3 and a bit hours I have been trying to get logged on with no joy. I am using my new laptop connected wirelessly to my bt home hub, my 3 year old Sony vio that I gave to my youngest son logged on with no probs, the Sony has an external ewireless unit fitted and is weorking well..Another prob I keep on getting when I first sign in is a menue that drops saying failed to initialise please shut down and restart.

I have been going nuts all night then all of a sudden as I said to my wife, I will try once more then bingo it fired up.

Have any of you guys on bt yahoo had same prob tonight ? what about others? prob lasted from just before 9pm till midnight GMT.

Well my brother was on the the internet doing who knows what and when I get on it the toolbar that show the time has a red circle with an x on it and every second there is a pop up coming from it that windows has detected a spyware infection. And about every 10 minutes there is another pop up telling to buy a program called pest trap to get rid of the virus. Ive never heard of pest trap and there is already a shortcut to its website on my desktop and I already have McAfee Security on my computer and it has been scanning the computer for about an hour and a half. What do I do now?

There are so many podcasts these days that it is difficult to find exactly what you want. For example, I'm looking for whether the topic of London Olympics 2012 has ever been discussed in any podcast, but I don't know how to search for this particular thing.

Other sites work, this one won't. Someone type it in and see if it loads.

I even changed my IP address, had others successfully log on, used different browsers, I can;t figure out why it wont work on my two computers.
