i go to say yahoo then try to go to another site,it disconnects yahoo then , why?

Actually, the only time you are EVER connected to a web server is when you are actively downloading content. As soon as any file is transmitted to your browser, the connection closes.

So even if you have only one website open, you are mostly not connected to the server. If you have more than one at a time, it makes no difference at all.

Good question. I can log onto numerous sites all at once and jump back and forth between them. I just open a new window for each site.

The only reason i can think of is if you have to log on on both sites. For example I was on yahoo answers in English, then I tried to do it in Spanish, and it did not allow me ...I had to log off English, and log on on Spanish yahoo answers. Which to me it didn't make no sense,
because my log in for english is the same for spanish. you know what i mean?

maybe too many things are downloaded or your computer has know more memory that is my opinion
