This is confusing but I'll try to explain. I use Yahoo IM and I'll send an IM to my friend who appears online but often get this message that I cannot send anymore messages till my friend responds. but if I send this message in another one of my emails and I try to send her another message it doesn't tell me I have to wait till she responds. what does that mean???

I am having problems after installing Norton. When I click a link on a safe page that I have been using for ages the link won't open. All it says is javascript. I have configured my pop up blocker etc to allow but no luck, don't know what to do now, can anyone help please?

I want to use Entourage (Microsoft Office:OSX) and receive my Yahoo mail as one of the accounts. Past experience was not good because of Yahoo being a POP account. I have heard this in now changed. Has anyone had experience with both Entourage and Yahoo mail? Do I need special settings?

Hi, does anybody know why MSN Messenger won't sign in?? All that is happening is I type my e-mail address and password like it says and then it just keeps saying Signing In. At the moment, it is still saying Signing In, 1 hour and 15 minutes after I typed my address and password. And also when I try and access Hotmail and any other MSN related sites, it doesn't let me on them. Does anybody know why?? Please help me out here because I have been without the internet for more than 6 months, got it back today and I can't even access my MSN Messenger account OR my Hotmail account.

Hi all,
I bought a pricey computer off ebay. It was used, but top of the line. I paid 1300. Computer arrived totally beat up and non functional. It was improperly packaged (although I haven't told FedEx).

I tried to get FedEx to work with me on a claim, but the run-around is hilarious and never ending. Everytime I call I hear something new from some surly rep, and everytime I have to start over... It's been over 3 months. The last time I called they told me they work only with shippers, not the recipient. They will not work with me, and I cannot see them filling any portion of the 500 dollar claimed value the seller insured for.

I requested refund (total refund where I return item, or partial to cover damages) and seller replied "let me check with FedEx". I think they're dragging their feet.

This is a lot of money to me and I need this computer for my job. I need either the money or the computer ASAP.

What should I do with this situation?!?! thanks

I know there's a "browse" option, but I don't want everyone who knows me to search my profile in MySpace. So is there a way for it NOT to appear when they search? I already have it set to private, but I understand that only works in a "they can't ADD me" way.

The iternet has been around for a little more than 15-16 years (in masive popularity at least) I was trying to come up with a list of people who became famous because of the internet. Either somethinhg they did that made them famous, a website they built that caused celeberity status.....or even a photo or video that was put on the web and spread like wild fire that caused them to become famous....

I'm only looking for people who got their 15 mins of fame, Im not looking for answers like "bill gates" or the google guys.
