Well I am thinking twice about using it now, having got stung last week. I bought some Fake Bake at a Buy Now price (having checked comments first)and paid instantly with PayPal. I got an e-mail from E-Bay later that day saying the item had been withdrawn as the seller had broken one or more policies. No back up from E-bay and the seller has not responded to me so now I have to dispute through PayPal and I may not even get my dosh back - NOT IMPRESSED!!!

particular. i did not report with IC3 via fact on the time i did not are conscious of it existed. and that i've got faith that IC3 can not get entangled except there is an significant scam in contact. Did you report an merchandise not won criticism with eBay additionally? Or did the ultimate date to report bypass already? i'm sorry to declare that eBay remains slightly out of control, and the kind of rotten sellers has grown. i've got had to forge my own "regulations of engagement" while coping with eBay sellers. There are nevertheless solid ones there, however the undesirable ones are gaining floor. - i don't pay for something by ability of any technique that leaves me with out recourse. which ability no money orders. It additionally ability no PayPal making use of a stability, eCheck or economic company circulate. credit card in hassle-free terms. - i don't purchase electronics on eBay that i will get everywhere else. The counterfeits, inexpensive knock offs and refurbs marketed as new kind call products are a majority of what you hit upon on there now. - huge skill sellers are actually rather solid at comments manipulation, making it much less functional of a gadget while it is composed of screening out undesirable sellers. yet while the furnish sounds too solid to be genuine, that's. in case you despatched the M.O. by way of postal mail, you additionally can report mail fraud, yet i'm undecided how efficient that's the two. If the M.O. is an significant volume, try tracing it to work out if it became cashed. EDIT: great - you left him a neg! Now be on the look out for a sq. commerce e mail. A supplier will pay $20 to sq. commerce to "mediate" the dispute. in case you do not respond to it, your neg to him gets bumped off. So in case you get one, respond, and tell sq. commerce No - he can stick his neg the place the solar do not shine.

I haven't stopped using E-bay, but I have stopped using Paypal. They're the biggest fraudsters around. If you have any kind of dispute with them they don't take any notice of anything you write in your emails, they just send out standard replies and take the money from you anyway - in my case they took the same amount for the same transaction twice. I sent loads of emails but they never gave it back. WARNING - DON'T USE PAYPAL.

I've had a couple of people try to rip me, but spotted them early, mainly due to bad spelling. One was quite sophisticated and had copied part of the Ebay site, but their cut a paste technique was poor and I was suspicious.

I haven't stopped using it per se, but I'm really careful about reading sellers and buyers' feedback now. PayPal's a good thing to use, but disputes take a while and can be rather messy.
