Jeeves retired. He's spending his time on a tropical island sipping umbrella drinks and watching the babes.
It used to be www.askjeeves.com and the owners decided that the jeeves part was getting old and updated it for the 21st centure to just www.ask.com

using the jeeves logo was breaking the copyright of the original copyright owner. they worked it out for awhile and agreed to let them use it. but i guess ask decided to suspend using it.
