I would like to know how many people are searching for my website (www.ambafrance-uk.org) on google.com or on yahoo.com

Go to http://www.google.com/webmasters/
You'll need to register your site there. Follow the instructions, Since you control the domain, you should be able to access all the features.
Since i don't actually control any domains, I'm not sure exactly what features are available or how to use them.

People don't usually search for a website, instead they search for content. They enter words into the search engine (called keywords) and with some good page building skills your site might come up. But the key is to get your content and key words right. The best site that I have ever found to explain this is referenced below.

I don't think there's a way to find out how many people search for your website?
Is your page searchable?
~ try to work on your META file or pay search engine to post your page ...
~ or just put a counter to your page ...
