This is not surprising as AOL bought Netscape. Good luck trying to cancel. I suspect that Netscape has the same policy of firing any CS staff that does actually cancel the acccount for more than 40% of the cancelation calls recieved.

It has been a long time so bare with me. I think you need only go to the www.netscape.com site and look around. I can't remember exactly where it is and they most likely have changed that by now anyway.

HOWEVER, once you figure it out, may I suggest that since you are familiar with Netscape you go to

http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/

download firefox browser and thunderbird for email.
Firefox has tabbed browsing and thunderbird is the most secure email I know of.

If you have trouble cancelling due to it being deducted from a credit card or checking account, you can have the card company or bank deny any further charges from AOL. You may have to submit something in writing to the card company or bank.
