Internet - August 2006

I downloaded Yahoo Messenger a while ago and while I am at work today I can't sign in. I thought that by uninstalling the software the problem would go away but I downloaded it again and I still have the same problem. Can someone help me plz?

my gosh i been from A-Z of pc store and none have linux in stock i was told i have to buy a new pc if i want linux os i have even been online looking to see if i can buy linux os all i want is linux os so i can install it on my pc gosh i cant buy a pc just to get linux os is there anyware you know i can buy the linux cd rom so i can install it on the pc save me usin microsoft windows xp i wanna give linux os a try everyone says it is better then microsoft windows xp can you pls tell me if you know where i can buy it from a website will help as i have been to many pc stores and they dont stock it websites i look at only had update for linux os

when i get a email from a friend and i have to download the attachment, it starts the process and then a pop up shows that says " the connection with the server was reset: Internet Explyer cannot download"...so i checked my firewall, it reads "no proxies"..then i went into my IE, tools, options, advanced, and clicked on restore defaults, and then restarted my comp. it didn't work, i was told to check my email virus scanner??? what's that and how if needed do i check that, or please tell me how to fix this problem, thanks for all help, it will be greatly appreciated.

Everytime I try to play except one time (the first time) It says "We're logging you out log in again to play"! Or it says "It has problems with the server". Whats going on? Can you help me?

I had BitDefender on my comp with Parental control which allowed me to blog internet traffic anytime. But, the problem is, it's only allowed start from hour, not minute. Beside, if any traffic is going, it won't block them. Is there any good solution for my question? Thanks all even if it can't help me!!!

It seems so simple. You can get online to ask people on Yahoo things, can't you simply Google it or search on Yahoo? If it's an opinion based question it's understandable to ask, but in the time you take to type a question that requires purely factual data you'd already have an answer. Look the s**t up, it's easy.
