I downloaded Yahoo Messenger a while ago and while I am at work today I can't sign in. I thought that by uninstalling the software the problem would go away but I downloaded it again and I still have the same problem. Can someone help me plz?

Same thing happened to my messenger after using it for some months,could'nt get access using password or change it by answering security question.Had to create 2nd account and get a new messenger that way.Alternative is to restore your computer to an earlier date when you had no problem. Joan

can u check yahoo mail? to make sure that your account is still active. if it does, then 2nd check, are you installing MSN or latest version is windows live messenger ? sometimes i also have the same problems with these two messnger... but, now you can also login using windows live messenger using your yahoo account. type on the login for example david@yahoo.com ,and same password as yahoo. good luck.

Are u behind any firewall or any proxy server if so U have to setup the proxy settings. Even after setting the proxy settings if you are unable to login then try again with removing those proxies. This is not a joke.. It is really working for me..
