my bro goes to myspace now he used to go a lot but he didnt for a while and now that he started again the internet freezes up and its very very slow? has this happened to any1 else? and if so how did u fix it? ive used SPYWARE DOCTOR, NORTON< SPYSWEEPER, and windows defender HELP!!!! INTERNET VERY SLOW ( I HAVE BROADBAND AND THE INTERNET IS GOING DIAL UP SLOW!!!!!!

i will be updating my web browser, but i don't want to yet until i find a way to transfer my existing bookmarks to the new web browser.

Is this possible? Can it be done without me losing all my bookmarks?

I've checked the audio-in preferences for my mac. For some reason no sound is going in. As far as I can see the headphones are correctly hooked up to the speakers and microphone jacks on the back of my machine. Anyone else using a mac with a computer headset had this problem?

I'm writing an article in my local communicty newspaper about this topic. It seems that many parents, especially first generation, have no idea what the internet or myspace.com is capable of. There is no real age restriction, and I've heard of little girls age 10 years old on the site meeting strangers and sharing their pics all over the world. 1 in 5 children is sexually solicited on the web. I am worried, and I want REAL opinions on what to put in my article. Thanks all!

I volunteer in helping AGATE to maintain their website.
The password was lost in a move, and has been requested umpteen million times, to no avail.
And the phone/fax numbers for Freespaces.com listed in the whois directory have been disconnected!
We have also contacted the underlying globalmedia.com to no avial, since the phone number is the same!
The underlying registrar for the above domains is moniker.com.
They have also been contacted to no avail.

WE HAD TO MOVE TO ANOTHER HOST IN ORDER TO MAINTAIN THE SITE!!!! 2 YEARS AGO!!!

Meanwhile, the 2-year old site is still up, and confuses our audience.

Is there any means to have this old site taken down by a government authority?
