i will be updating my web browser, but i don't want to yet until i find a way to transfer my existing bookmarks to the new web browser.

Is this possible? Can it be done without me losing all my bookmarks?

thanks in advance.

it depends on the browser you downloaded, look in your bookmark settings and see if there is an import, or you can copy the ones from the old bookmark folder into the new one

Step 1: Take out a pad of paper.
Step 2: Take a pen, prepare it for writing, and write down the names of your bookmarks.
Step 3: Install new browser.
Step 4: Google website names and bookmark them.

Ta da!

If you are going from Explorer to Fire fox, it will ask you as you are installing do you wish to transfer your bookmarks and settings for your older browser. Just say yes and you will be ready to go!! You shouldn't lose any of your old book marks!! -_o
