Try this.

Uninstall the Yahoo Messenger with BT Communicator and go to here to re-install.

Note: I work for BT Broadband Technical Helpdesk in Newcastle and next month we begin training on the Communicator - so I have been doing my homework first!

Good Luck!

You could try another free txt messaging service here:

If that does not help go to Start>Control Panel>Add/Remove Porgrammes>Yahoo Messenger>Remove then go onto http://uk.messenger.yahoo.com and download the latest version.
