i lost my motherboard cd setup and my pc is from the us and i m now in egypt and i dont have any connection with hp servers and there is no company for hp here what ican do

I have a Sony Vaio VGN-N250E with pre-installed Windows Vista. I have heard that even sony don't have all the drivers for running xp successfully on this notebook. The geeksquad at best-buy says that they can run xp successfully on this machine as they have access to some generic drivers.
Can anyone tell me where I can find these generic drivers to setup xp successfully on this notebook. I just hate vista.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I have a 500gb external hard drive i want to leave it plugged into my computer at all times. Someone said that if i leave it plugged in at all times something bad is going to happen. So i want to know if this is true. The computer stays one 24/7 so the external hard drive stays plugged in 24/7.

The email which came to my office email address ( I am a voluntary worker) was forwarded by somebody I know and contains hundreds of other email addresses. Presumably somebody is 'tracking' these, (probably not AOL/Intel). I would like to think there could be some positive outcome for all of these people but frankly, I don't have time (or inclination) to get to know them all! Will deleting the message be enough to get me off the hit list? Or perhaps I'm being too cynical and cheques will arrive. As it is at work I don't feel I can take the risk, I need the goodwill of people in my address book.

ok heres what is happening. i need a god to help with this. im trying to install tiger on my 10.3.9 mac. i have the offical install disc. my mac tech spec is

Dual 1.42 GHz, PowerPc G4 , 120GB HD (23GB LEFT) 1GB DDR SDRAM.

i have used loads of programs to try and repair the hd so tiger can install

this is the error log when i try and install.

How do I get a forum going?

No one will join an abandoned forum so how to I get people to have a look at it a join when there is no one on there?

The forum I want to make has to be ran by only me so do I create all of the threads and start up the topics and hope people reply?

I've been looking for a Medical Spell Checker for Microsoft Word for years but no luck. It would be of a great help and a huge time saver for me. The default Spell & Grammar Checker in Microsoft Word does not recognize Medical Terminology. I have Microsoft Office 2007. Is there such a program? Thanks!

Hello. I have asked many questions about this! RGB no input signal.

ok, 1) When I play graphic games other than bejewelled 2, which actually works, other games are able to run for about 5 minutes (sometimes less) and next the computer is on but the moniter reads, 'rgb no input signal'. I am so annoyed!

2) Next, I thought maybe my monitor was cranky but it wasn't the monitor because, I tried another one which, when you play the same games on the other computer using that oher monitor, they work. Is it the graphics, video card?

3) I have never had this problem before. I tried playing a game which I haven't for a while and before it used to run fine but now this problem is very, very annoying. How can I sort it out?

4) I have no idea how to see if there's anything wrong with the input of the drivers and video card. I opened the computer to see if it was the input but everything seemed firm and anyway IU can't really tell if it's absolutly tight! Please help me! Thank you!

Hi,

I am looking at running dual display on my computer, yet am wondering if I am going to need another video card in order to do this. I spent quite a bit on my one video card the ATI Radeon 8800, and therefore would not want to have to spend alot in order to get the same performance with the other monitor.

I want to utilize my PC(Desktop) from different rooms of my house. So instead of buying a new laptop , I felt it would be better if I can connect my Desktop through multiple keyboard mouse monitor shared on single CPU ; with a switch that can make a particular set of monitor keyboard mouse working .
