How do I get a forum going?
No one will join an abandoned forum so how to I get people to have a look at it a join when there is no one on there?
The forum I want to make has to be ran by only me so do I create all of the threads and start up the topics and hope people reply?
Any tips would be helpful!

I haven't set it up yet because of this reason about not knowing how to get the forum going ?

Well, you've missed a golden opportunity right there. You should have typed in the url of the site that you want people to visit and asked for people to leave comments on the site.
Obviously, it would help if the forum was about topics that interest people.
