My computer was working fine one day then I turned it off the end of that day like I usually do. Then after 4 days of not using it I went to turn it on and nothing happened. I tried using my friends power supply but still no luck. I cleaned out some of the dust near the front where the button is but nothing. Also, when I plug it in, I notice my over head light dims for a second. Also, when it is plugged in, there is a green light that comes on on the motherboard. What could the problem be?

I have heard that for someone to start Google AdSense, the person needs to sign up and then get approved for the program.

But how is it exactly? Is it hard to get accepted to the Google AdSense program? And how much time does it take to get approved?

I'm trying to come up with a program that when the user enters serial number/subject id, the program reads from a bunch of files and finds the corresponding .txt file and displays the name of assignments listed in the .txt file. I'm having a lot of trouble creating the program please help me myself, and I haven't been able to get any help. (My program doesn't even compile, if anyone wishes to try this program out and gets it to work, I really would appreciate the help). Thank you, in advance.

I have OS 10. I have thousands of pictures I need to organize. I want to have a 3 digit number before each file that will be the same for multiple files. (ex. 123-01,123-02, 123-03.......) I don't want to enter it all by hand. Is there a script or program to help me?

I'm curious if anyone has ever run into this. And, even if you haven't please let me know what you do--I feel like I'm being scammed!

I bought a router on ebay, for 39.99. It was a great deal because it was free shipping..

Now, when I go to pay, I have to pay an extra 8 dollars for shipping! I e-mailed the seller in regards to this issue, asking if I'd be refunded, because it is advertised as free, but I've yet to hear back from him.

I know it's technically my fault, because I should have read everything in regards to the auction (it does say "pay $8.95 for s+h" but it also says, front and center, "free shipping")

What would you do??
