I am looking to get a new laptop, is this one worth the $1049??

Orkut is a social networking site, much like Myspace.
Like groups on myspace, we have communities on orkut, for uniting people of similar interests or more or less anything you can make a community on.
What happens if the owner of a community cancels his/her orkut account?
What is the procedure of transfer of community?

Recently I noticed that I am unable to open any of my drives because whenever I try to do so, a msg. box appears to open the drive with a particular program such as MS Word, which is not possible. I f I try to open it by right clicking on the drive, the "Open" option is written in an unknown language like an encryption or symbols, etc. Is this a virus even though I have an updated Antivirus on my PC. Pl. help..........

Okay when your computer crashes, does all the memory and stuff on the hard drive just like in a sense delete its self?So when your computer crashes all the information on the hard drive is gone?

My cell phone was drowned in mineral water in a span of 5 minutes. It all happened inside my bag without me knowing it. I turned off my cell phone and used a blow drying to remove all the moisture outside and inside (battery compartment and memory card slot).
The cell phone turns on but with a purple screen and a faulty backlight. After leaving it alone for 5 hours, it starts working again.
So do I need to open it and blow dry the insides or am I in the safe zone?

Is Linux like Windows? Is it free? can I run all my favorite games with it? I use Windows Word and Internet Explorer, are there replacements for these programs with linux? I love Counter Strike Source and Warcraft 3, Can i continue to play these with linux, if not are there games that i can play? Is Linux easy to get used to for a full fledged windows user? I like to make movies with Windows Movie Maker, is there another program like it that i can use Linux.

I NEVER put my chidren's pictures on the interenet. In fact, I only ever tell people the age and number of children if I am personally chatting with them. Someone tagged me with photos and one was of me and my kids. I emailed them and said that I LOVED the photos. And inquired about the one that I really liked of them in a field. Than I mentioned that I don't put my kids photos on the interenet and asked them to delete it. Now this family member just untagged ALL the photos and never said anything. I am wondering if they are mad again? ( everytime I tell him to stop telling me I'm weird and make fun of me for being different than him, he gets mad at me for not taking a joke). Now I am wondering if he is upset again... is this wierd to not tolerate any of my kids pictures online (unless I send them in an email)??
