I sent an e-mail to a friend and it failed to go through, with the reason cited as "______ is not eccepting E-Mails from this sender." Does that mean my friend blocked me, or does it mean she or her e-mail provider blocked e-mail from my provider?

I am just beginning to dwelve into the TCP/IP and would like to know, which RFC's the experts recommend, beside the 1812, 1122, and 1123, for a newbie who barely begins to learn about it.

What exactly does the Japanese writing at the opening of the movie mean? Is it a very clear message or a cryptic one that only adds even more "depth" and riddles to the movie?

I am running on windows XP and I was using the SBC yahoo browser with the pop ups set to off and medium filters.

It starts as a pop up, then the little yellow flashing trianlge appears on the tool bar, and when I scroll over it, it says nothing and if I right click, it opens. So I ignore it and it opens a window that claims to be an Internet Explorer alert, but when I click on it, it sends me to ads for various anti virus software, that they want me to buy (not the well known ones either).

I have run "spy bot search and destroy", "AVG free", and "Ad-aware 6.0" and came up with a few data miners which I cleaned out. I have deleted all cookies and internet files, I have defragged and switch to "Mozilla Firefox"

I think it may be connected to my Internet Explorer, because it now automaticly signs in when I turn my computer on. I use SBC yahoo for my DSL service. What should I do?

I went to type up a paper and they're set to 0 which it wasn't the last time I used it. I tried a lot of things but I must've forgotten something. The actual bar that tells you how wide your margins are is there but I have no way of setting the vertical one. The top/horizontal one is perfectly fine, only my vertical one is causing me trouble.

Question 3a) Write an algorithm that calculates the volume of a house and the cost of heating the house. The house is assumed to have the shape of a box with a prism on top as roof. The dimensions of the house: Width, Length, Height, and RoofSide are given in meters. The cost of heating one cubic meter (1 m3) of the house is $0.34 (for a month).

Question 3b) Java Implementation of 3a). The dimensions of the house are input from the keyboard (you can assume the user inputs valid values, positive real numbers). The volume of the house and the cost of heating are displayed on the screen.

k the question shows a picture of a house ... a rectangular prism wit a triangular prism on top. All dimensions of the house are shown except the height of the triangle. So you have to calculate the height to find the volume and then find the cost. i know how to do part A but need help wit part B.

I have a dell inspiron which picks up several wifi connections - it uses intel pro/wireless 220bg card. My older 2 computers however are only picking up one connection - the strongest. Both are b / g enabled

So I wish to replace my wireless cards with one similar to my dell Intel card. how do I pick them so they will work just as well? Are there some brands that are better then others?

I don't know if anyone has head of this, but there is an online game called isketch. It's like online pictionary. It use's the program Macromedia Shockwave to operate.

Everytime before I enter the site it says "Click to run ActiveX control on this site". Once I have logged onto the website a message pops up and says something like "an attempt has been made to access this location. This may pose a security risk", and it gives some link to random websites each time, like a photobucket account or something. Once I go into one of the rooms, after about 2 minutes (not even that), the game and website will freeze. NOT my entire internet, just that website. So I have to refresh and log in again. And it will happen again, and again. After about 8 times of logging in and in again and again, it will finally stay on. But I asked other people on the game and it doesn't happen to any of them.

Am I hacked? Or what is it that may be causing this weird stuff to happen when I go to that site?

my frind bought a used computer. it already had windows 2000. he used it for awhile, and then one day while playing with it, he locked himself out by activating an old pre-existing password. after this happened, he informed me, he somehow installed windows xp. he says it works ok, but it is super slow, and when attempting to update or upgrade online, there is always a window that pops up and gives an error message that it was unable to continue. any help out there?
