I went to type up a paper and they're set to 0 which it wasn't the last time I used it. I tried a lot of things but I must've forgotten something. The actual bar that tells you how wide your margins are is there but I have no way of setting the vertical one. The top/horizontal one is perfectly fine, only my vertical one is causing me trouble.

Double clicked the tiny bar, didn't do anything to get the margins back.

Wow. Don't people read anymore? It's VERTICAL, not horizontal.

The vertical ruler is only visible if you are in Print Layout View. If you float your mouse over the icons near the bottom left of the screen, the one with the box and the lines in the box is Print Layout View. That should show your vertical ruler.

To adjust your vertical margins (your top and bottom margins) you can also go to File-Page Setup and type in the numbers instead of dealing with sliders.
