I currently rent an apartment, but have felt the presence of someone else here. I was wondering if anyone knew a website, or knew how i could find out what used to be here on this property, or if anyone died here.......

Go to the court house but keep in mind there may be nothing on record. If you feel something Move I dealt with the same thing years ago and it almost cost me my marriage. You never know
what kind of activity the person that lived there before you dabbled in. (Occult wise) Things can be brought into a home in many different ways such as Ouija board, ritual etc
Ask th property owner if you can move into another apt. of equal value. She may let you for little to no charge

Go with what everyone else said about the records, then when you find out about the last house or building that was there, see if it was destroyed and when. Then go with that info to the library and look in the microfiche at newspaper articles around that time and see if there is anything about it.

You could try going to the following website:
http://www.whitepages.com
Click on the tab for a reverse address search and enter your address. If the previous tenant's number was listed in the phone book, chances are this website may not have been updated with your information yet. Good Luck!!

Go to your county hall of records, where all deeds are recorded. At least you will know who owned.

Go to the county courthouse and look at the land records to see who owned and/or lived there, then look up their death certificates to see if they also died there.
