Never heard of that. Not in any news article, news program or anywhere.
Oh wait!! I remember this, on the page, if you lived long enough you could order this video tape. They say whoever watches it, receives a phone call and this creepy voice comes on the line and says you will die in 7 days. And then, 7 days later, you die this horrible, painful death.
Seriously though, not true. For one, the MySpace page would have been taken down the moment they realized it killed people, the story would have leaked out, and the Government would have gotten the technology and started to kill off their enemies through the internet. Not to mention the lawsuit MySpace and the creator of the website would have gone through for the incident.

Come on, you aren't really believing that are you?
Urban legend for sure, certainly no truth to it.
Not only was there a similar plot in "the ring", but there was a comedy sketch about a joke that anyone hearing it, it would kill them, it was an English program ... perhaps monty python ... .
That is all it is ... something someone makes up.

that would of either been urban legend as the above user says, or it could of been a flashing image which could of tripped an elicptic fit which in turn could of caused the user to do something which could of resulted in death, fallen on something hard causing injury then death.

It was an urban legend. Look it up at snopes.com, they either confirm or deny the information that comes across.
