I receive none of my friend's emails because I once accidently marked spam on his email (it was hidden among what I thought was 10-15 spams). He is an important person and I need his emails....How do I "un spam" his addresss?

I would like to download music videos of the internet to store in my computer. I know of launch, MTV, and sympatico music videos...but they are only streamed video...not downloadable. What other websites offer downloadable music videos?

I am thinking about either the 6600 or the 6300. Is the 6600 hundred worth the extra $150 ish?

I mainly use my computer for fooling around. I watch movies, play music and play games. I have no problem lowering the quality of a game to make it work better.

Another thing I see is that the 6600 will be more upgradable later on in life. (I have had an AMD 1700 XP for about 5 years now)

6600 cost 315

New case? Or can I get a new PSU and keep my current one?
PSU? 40?
Ram? 100?
Motherboard? 100?
Video Card? 100?

Would I be better off getting I dell?

I built my last system, but that was a long time ago.

I have a hard drive, I have optical, I have monitors and speakers I like.

I have a HP Compaq, 8 mo old, installed Ella, Norton Anti Virus & Pest Patrol. I have DSL. I have not received mail since Oct 4. My ISP said everything was fine on their end. My yahoo mail and other email works fine. My internet works fine. If I send myself a message it goes in the deleted mail folder. Anyone have any answers to this?

I'd like to get a good home computer that isn't going to cost a ton, but isn't going to crap out on me in a couple years. I don't need all the bells and whistles, but would like enough features, memory, etc. that I'd need for normal home computer-type activities--digital pictures, maybe a few games, high speed internet, etc. Also, I definitely need to have Microsoft Office...anyone know of any computers that come with it, or any stores that offer a good deal to add it on?

I know this is not an "internet" question, but figured you guys could help....This is where the smart people hang out.....LOL

I am an American, but I live in Northern Ireland. I was a school teacher in Tennessee, and the school board has finally sent me my check for last year's salary.....My question is this.....

I am not allowed to open a bank account yet, because you have to live here for a certain period of time, before they allow you to open one.

The check is for almost $32,000......

How am I going to get this money? Who will cash a check that large?

I am thinking of trying one of those check-cashing places, but they charge a fee......I am sure that it would be a hefty fee on a check that large.....They may not cash checks that large anyway.....

What should I do?

What type of I.D. will I need to show them? How long will it take for them to verify the check, or do they have to do that?

It is in US funds, will that be problem?

Is it safe to upload my kids photographs to Yahoo Photos, I want to know when I delete them are they permanently deleted from everywhere in the yahoo system or are they electronically backedup and archived even after I have deleted them. I just want to ensure that I have complete control over my kids pictures and that when I have deleted them they are definitely and truly deleted and not left stored on the yahoo server network after I think they are having been safely and securely deleted. I just want to share private family photos with other family members overseas but want a clear answer but nobody has been able to give me a definitive reply from yahoo customer service. "To say your picture is deleted and not possible to restore" from your Yahoo Photos is not the same as confirming that "No backups are taken and archived once your image is having been deleted
