There was a trojan virus detected on my computer. I put it in the virus vault. Is my computer safe? Should I delete the virus?

Yes - it's "quarantined" - also, a trojan horse, while a virus, is probably more annoying than damaging anyway - pop-up adds/spyware are considered trojan horse viruses.

Yes it is safe to have a virus or in this case a trojan horse in the virus vault because only the antivirus can access the folder and the programs in the folder can't run!

Yes your computer is safe as long as your virus software stays functioning. I would delete the virus anyways

If it is in the vault, it is safe, but if you can delete it, do so. No need to have it on your system

Your PC should be safe but it never hurts to delete them.

If you understand the scope of "due diligence" it is better to delete them.

Have fun but be safe!
