Dear,

Try out these steps,
Step 1: Restart the PC
Step 2: Uninstall all spywares, adwares, anti virusus software from your pc.
Step 2: Download and install AVG antispyware from www.ewido.net and run a complete system scan.Delete whole bugs found in scan.Keep this spyware software in your system ever. The best one ever!
Step 3: Also keep Norton Antivirus software too in system.
Step 4: Defragment the system by moving to startmenu->programs
->Accessories->system tools->disk defragmenter.

Your system will be stable and perfect after this. The step 3 is not must now.If u can obtain the software now get it otherwise try to get it from your friends as soon as possible. Its not urgent becoz the mentioned spyware on step 2 keep your system 100% secure.

I suspect you did not get all the spyware. Try scanning with some of these products. Most of these products are free for non-commercial use versions that have disabled some features, usually the active resident protection.

Spybot Search and Destroy is an excellent program for scanning for and removing spyware. The resident modules can be a bit buggy, but the extra included tools such as startup manger are great! http://www.safer-networking.org/en/mirrors/index.html

Adaware is another good scanner and removal tool but it has no resident abilities at all in the free version. http://free.lavasoft.com

Ewido is fairly new as a free spyware scanner, but it comes from the people who brought us AVG, so I expect good things: http://free.grisoft.com

Microsoft has their free scanner avalable for download although many advise that this tool is a bit permissive of questionable programs and add ons! Defender does offer a couple of options the others do not have such as scheduled scan and a resident process for active protection. http://www.microsoft.com/athome/security/spyware/software/default.mspx

A new player is on the scene with SUPERAntiSpware. I was fairly impressed with the deep scans performed by this product, and it found some inactive files with spyware embedded, that the others had missed. I will add this to the list of tools in the arsenal and see how it really performs on active spyware. If you want to try it you can download it here: http://www.superantispyware.com/download.html

It sounds really goosed (technical term).

The best way to obilterate them is a reformat and reinstall on windows...

If you can get your personal files off in one peice then do it (either copy to CDs or an external USB drive). A last resort could be throw your drive into anoter computer as a "secondary device" (may be called "slave" on yours if it's pre- polical correctness) and move them off onto that and then onto CDs.

Of course you'll need to be sure you have your (or any) windows installation CD.

Make sure the first thing you re-install is a virus scanner and firewall (if you don't have one, and it sounds like you dont, then you must buy one, think of the hassle you've had and weigh that up against the relatively few dollars they cost !!)
