Basically Dor you plug the dongle into the USB socket (Flat socket) on your laptop or PC. XP will lead you through the simple set up once done. On your phone go to the picture you want to send and select from the options list "send" your phone will then search for the dongle on your laptop/PC once it has found it select it and confirm to send and hey presto the pictures of tiddles sleeping in front of the fire are ready to email

All as per MrSwagger. The only thing is you most likely need a specific dongle made for your phone. Its a little gimmick to make more money for the manufacture. The one for my phone is like $70 CDN.

Most phones have a data cable that lets you connect it to a computer. It will have software that transfers picts, and it will also sync up contacts and whatever else you have. The software is specific to the phone.
You can find this pretty easily on eBay or Amazon. Just look for you phone model.
