New to computers and just want to do the things I WANT TO dO! Don't bother anyone, so why can't they just let me be? For reasons I don't know-the laptop stops, isn't connected, then I restore to an earlier time --then I lost my accounts. They started to give me a hard time with my YaHoo account, thank GoD that didn't happen. Thank you very much- Yahoo!--------Now my question is how can I get back my account on Outlook? Do I need to download Outlook Express again?
------What about lycos.co.uk---- what's with that? I seem to remember the last time I went into lycos, I didn't use my email address, just first initial& last name. Lycos wrote me something about they don't have the co.uk anymore because they sold it-even before I bought the computer, so I'm baffled and very upset. With my limited computer knowledge it's rough, trying searches. But thank you Yahoo--I LOVE YOU!!!!

Someone is accessing my website using dos...they've pretty much let me know they're hacking my site, cause when you punch the isp he's using into a google search, it comes to a webpage that basically calls you a twit and brags of how many computers he's hacked. He's leaving UDP packets or something according to my logs...how can i stop this...how can i find out who owns the isp address.

Do you really want a IM or Answers message made 3 years ago comming back at some job interview? While The NET is a public place, many do not realise that their posts, & emails last long after they give up a account. Foley's acts aside, WHAT ABOUT YOU???? Cookies are bad enough, but do you feel a little less shaky to today knowing That email or Yahoo! Answers post may come back to huant you. People cry about the patriot act. But this was ABC news......

I live in toronto and i have a macbook hardware problem, (shutdown problem) . If i bring my macbook back to the store will they replace my macbook with a new one, or just send it in for repairs with my 1 year warranty. Has anyone brought it back before?

I only require the wireless network in order to remotely access the internet from my laptop. At the moment I have an ethernet cabled connection from my desktop to my DSL modem via a Linksys router. My laptop has a wireless network card but not my desktop.

The printer originally said it was out of paper but when I cleared, it still wouldn't print. It seems unable to pick up the paper to print. It will, however make a copy. what can i be doing wrong?
