Do you really want a IM or Answers message made 3 years ago comming back at some job interview? While The NET is a public place, many do not realise that their posts, & emails last long after they give up a account. Foley's acts aside, WHAT ABOUT YOU???? Cookies are bad enough, but do you feel a little less shaky to today knowing That email or Yahoo! Answers post may come back to huant you. People cry about the patriot act. But this was ABC news......

You shouldn't put anything on the net that you wouldn't want other people to see. Pretend your mother is reading what you're writing

Good reminder. I have researched back on corporate servers for legal work, and using tools like X1, most everything lies around and can be read and used as real eveidence.
Servers get backed up and archived for years, plus your stuff is out there to be forwarded to anyone. Wise to think before you type. It is not anonymous. Your IP's are traceable.

Excellent point. Have no doubt about it, big brother is watching. That's why they're passing bills giving Bush dictatorial powers, and building secret concentration camps. The New World Order fascist police state is coming.
