I'm looking for a web cam compatible with both a PC (lap top w/ XP)/MAC (OSX) and Yahoo! IM. I found a few but would appreciate any advice on which is the best type:
* ICECAM
* Logitech Quickcam Pro 4000 Web Cam
* Logitech Quickcam Orbit Web Cam
Does anyone have any suggestions or better options they can share?

The quickest and easiest way to use a web cam is to use your digital camera that u take pics with. Attach it to your usb port. Not all work though. Check your manual or just try it. It has a better picture than the others as well.

dont get the logitech orbit...had one and thought, why do i have this if i am only in my room????
plus it size is not cool(too tall)
get any Logitech though, the 4000 is a good one i hear
