I want to use my laptop as my dvd player and use the tv as my screen to see the pictures but at the same time I want to work on my laptop as the movies goes on while showing on the tv screen, is it possible?

I put a 512 next to the existing 256 first time I turned on xp had to be re-activated, everything works fine after I press the reset but initially all I get is the blue screen whats happened?? what should I do to get it to start up correctly?

Can anyone help me please - i am trying to instal a new version of norton internet security but as it begins to instal it asks me to first un-instal my old version , when i then try to do this it asks me for a password as a supervisor - ive never given a password before and until i log on as a supervisor i cant do anything!!!!! does anyone know ho i can change or get around this ??????? thanks!

Hi! I'm a web developer with a little problem - for some reason, no matter how many times I update my Flash plugin for IE, it always says that I haven't got flash installed when I try to view flash content. Unfortunately I MUST test stuff in IE, even though personally I use Firefox 99% of the time.

It is definitely installed - in fact its been reinstalled a dozen times already. Does anyone know of a way of completely removing IE and all of its plugins (including registry events) so I can do a complete flat reinstall? There is no way that I'm resintalling Windows, so please don't even suggest it.

A repair tool maybe?

I tried to download an iTunes update, clicked on download and nothing. The same with other updates and even attachments in emails. There is no error message and I am too much of a Luddite to know if my settings are correct. Thank you

Hiya,

My little brother needs a ethernet connection for his (aging) PC. I've seen USB-Ethernet adaptors which would be ideal (no need for him to open the box and fit an expansion card) but they are all USB 2.0 and his PC has just plain old original USB ports. Will this cause a problem?

I have downloaded Flash Professional 8 and I need its key/serial no. so that it can work.

Any one can provide me with it?

I have tried installing another copy of Flash 8 from the adobe website and I can't use any of macromedia products because it says my trial period has ended whereas I have not used any other macromedia product except Flash 8.
