isn't every one tired of the scary pop-ups with horrid and nasty faces that pop-up on ur screen when u go to those sites or when some on send them? I mean seriously, 8 years ago...I had to go to a doctor because of those things! It had me shaking so hard!

i didnt do anything i was playing poker and then i went to open IE and it wouldnt. then i went on yahoo and my username and **** that usually is saved wasnt. same with myspace. the only thing i can think oh is i went to tvguide.com but on accident i typed tvgiude.com and a popup download thing poped up asking me if i wanted some poker software? now as im typing this the letters are dragging meaning as soon as i hit the button it isnt showing up on the screen for like a little bit of time. it is delayed. but anyway why did my passwords and **** do that

If the person is a University graduate, and doesnot have a computer related background,and he plans to get certified in SAP(any of the areas) how good are his prospects in the field of SAP. I know there are different fields, but i want to know how good, SAP itself is, for making a career in one of the areas of SAP.
Is it sensible to get certified and spend money and time behind the certification....or the SAP future is preety bleak..? I am at cross roads of choosing a career. I just need some pure facts, from genuine people. The other option is programming in .Net technology..what do you suggest...which has a more bright future..?

does anyone know anything about it? My friend just became my roommate, and we cancelled the AOL and got People PC because it's alot cheaper, but it is moving so so so slow. I tried to get on Myspace this morning, and it wouldn't let me do anything. We've had dial up the whole time, but the AOL was much faster, Is this a common problem with People PC or should we call tech support and have them try to fix whatever the problem is?? We're both not 'the brightest crayons in the box' when it comes to computers and technical stuff, so any help would be appreciated.... Thanks

what is the FSB multiplier (Front Side Bus) of a p4 running at 533 FSB?

is it 4?

cuz 4* 133 = 533

if so, does this mean pc133 RAM is what you need for this cpu and that anything more pc133 ( say 400 MHz DDR) is waste of money..

I have the 2007 edition of Norton virus protection. I keep getting these balloons come up on the right bottom of my screen. One said something about a worm virus and to click here to download the lastest in spyware. When I clicked to see what it was, it was a supposed spyware called VirusBurst, and I checked with Norton and found out that this was an actual virus, so thank goodness I didn't download it. I however, keep getting another balloon that is talking about a Trojan, and is also recommending me download something. I am leary of this now. I have done a scan daily and my system says that it is clear now. I keep getting screens pop up from Microsoft talking about private information being stolen and wanting me to download some other type of spyware protection. My mom said that is a fraud going around and not to fall for it. I am not very computer literate, so please can someone help me and please don't use computer terms that I won't understand. Thanks.

i have a linksys router. i have cable modem. originally there was a splitter for the cable, one to dvr/tv tuner one to the modem. something happened and the modem stopped getting a signal. i removed the split and direct connect cable to the modem. when i did this all the lights came on the modem solid green. still no internet. i remove router and direct connect from modem to pc. i get internet. now i know its the router. i reconnect the router so i can access properties. i reset from scratch all settings. i held the little button for 30 secs all original info was gone. ive done this twice and i cant get the WAN IP to be valid. no matter what i do i keeps saying expired. there are not alot of options in this section for the router. there is a release button and a renew button and thats all. any help would be great. dont need to be babied i know my way around a computer. just cant figure this one out. thanks
