I have a friend that uses Windows ME. She has Very slow dial-up. She reinstalled her OS and needs to update her computer. I remember a couple years back Microsoft released an Update CD but I have since lost mine and MS does not offer it anymore. Is there a place I can download an image of it to install atleast some of the updates for her?

I just hate it when people say "I don't know, I'll go Google it!" Google is not a verb, it's the name of a search engine! When I hear someone do that, I instantly think "that person is a Techie-wannabe". It makes me think of 'Soccer Moms' who are trying to sound cool to their kids or something. Does this bother anyone else or is it just me?

I just turned on my computer and just got the press F11 for recovery option. I clicked on F11 and then it said that windows could not start because file \system32\hal.dll was missing or corrupt. Reinstall the file. How can I do this? Where can I find this file?

and it never shows me video .
it just can play musics and things like that not a video what should I do?

Many don't make any sense. All of a sudden "themes" even very obscure emerge and lead to dozens of very similar questions. As if by coincidence all those have no avatar associated.

What is the proportion of questions from real human beings, as opposed to questions generated by Yahoo!'s AI software, to the total? Are 1/4th of the questions human, at best?

I'm already betting with myself that i'll receive hate answers from Yahoo!'s micromarketing employees (posing as users) for this. But it will still be fun! ;-)
