I bought McAfee Internet Security Suite. Do I need to remove the trial McAfee that comes with a new laptop? What special things must I do?

No you don't have to uninstall the old software but it a good idea if the versions are different. Example: Over write demo ver 7.0 with full ver 7.0 no problem. Over write demo ver5.0 with full ver9.0 things don't work as smoothly. Best rule of thumb (if no data or custom settings) is to uninstall the old software first. That way the new software doesn't use old setting or DLL files.

Insert the CD, and do what the wizard asks.
