Hi there,

I have some Images in .psd format (Adobe Photoshop format). There is some text written on the images. I want to delete or change that text and want to write some new text on these images.

How can I do that?

Any urgent help in this matter will be highly appreciated.
Best Regards
Fiza

If you are lucky, the text is on a separate layer in you .psd file; if it is, then you just need to work on that particular layer by selecting it, then overtype the existing text.

If it is not already on as a separate layer, then you will need to erase the existing text; it all depends on what sort of background the text is on as to whether you use the erase or clone tool. Then just use the text tool (T) to add your new text; this will NOW be on a separate layer, making any future changes much simpler!

Hope that helps.

let's assume you have the basics... and this document was put together by someone who knows how to use PS... now find the layer containing the text, make it invisible (click on the eye icon beside the layer in the layer menu) now activate your text tool and click where you want to place the text and write... once done, apply whatever attributes you want using color, font and alignment tools.

If the doc is all one layer and the type is not against a plain backgroun, you need to be highly skilled in PS to remove it... cloning tool... so you're probably out of luck

You can only delete the text if the text is on its own layer. Otherwise you need to use the stamp tool to clone it out of the image.

Double click on the layer it was written on and you will be able to edit. If you only see one layer than it was most probably flattened which means you can not edit it. Sorry!. Technically there is one way to erase it buts its too complicated for a amateur user.
