Did you check the box that says "remember my id"? It's probably better that it doesn't that's the point of passwords.

After you have signed in your yahoo ID and your password tick the little box below that says remember my yahoo ID on this computer.

Check your browser settings in Internet Options.

You may be dumping your cookies. Configure so that yahoo domain cookies are kept.
