I bouth a new hard disk and i can't install windows. the computer start booting but stop and sees NTLDR is missing, im wondering what it mean and what to do to fiX it.

I bought a laptop and installed XP Pro. I have an older desktop with XP Home. 1) Can I use the same XP Pro disk to update the desktop? Does MSoft allow that? 2) When going from Home to Pro, is it considered an upgrade, or will I have to do a clean install?

My DVD burner lens is weak (it seems), and all the DVD's I burn are now choppy. I bought a new internal DVD burner and wanted to replace the one that came with the computer.

I'm using an HP250n http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?lc=en&lang=en&cc=us&product=326411&dlc=en&docname=c00024879 and I just bought a NEC burner http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16827152059 .

I know absolutely NOTHING about the wires and stuff on a computer, should I do it myself (I've heard it's easy) or somehow take it to a professional?

I am considering purchasing a British Sci Fi Series only available as a Region 2 release. I want to buy them to basically copy them into Region 1 DVDs. Will I run into any issues because of the source DVD being PAL and Region 2? I have alot of experience backing up my own movies, but I have not attempted this sort of endeavor.

Please respond only if you have knowledge or experience with this. Not to be rude, but I have had way too many people answering my questions who don't have a clue and are flat out wrong!

which memory is used in what?
Example... if i download games... It is store in which memory?
