Get yourself a GPU (graphics processing unit). If you want to play games, perhaps you'd like to grab an NVIDIA (http://www.nvidia.com/) video adapter.

You could upgrade your graphics by going out and purchasing the best standard pci graphics card you could find and you will see a good deal of improvement.. but you still may experience low frame rates with today's most graphics intensive game.

Right now its a cost vs benefits situation for you. How far apart is the cost of a pci graphics card with at least 128MB memory (256 preferred) and the cost of upgrading to a new motherboard and a pci express graphics card... (you may need to upgrade system memory too)

Good Luck

First check the bios on your motherboard to see if you can disable the onboard graphics. If so you can install a pci graphics card of your choice, something like nVIDIA GeForce MX4000 128MB PCI Graphics Card
