2nd HD has set up the partition perfectly, found in the disk managment. so I would like to transfer C: to F: How do that? I tried to look up the website. If you have found a good website that can help me how to transfer the files with hard drive things.

my hard-drive crashed a while ago and i lost all my songs on itunes. recently, my ipod is acting all weird and i don't give it too much time until it stops working. I've been browsing the apple site, but i couldn't find anything. So is there any way to save the songs i have on my ipod to my computer?

I have subscribed to TalkTalk at the end of June and am still waiting on my Welcome pack for free broadband. Am I wasting my time or can I hear some positive stories which will reassure me that it'll arrive soon? I was told I would have it by the end of August but nothing has come. Calling the call centre is such a waste of time because you just get passed about from person to person and no one ever seems to get anything done!!!

I have a 1000 kVA UPS (I assume it's a standby UPS), described on the case as a Proline. In the specifications, the transfer time is given as 8ms typical, 10ms max, including detection and transfer (but I have no way of testing this).

Thanks to the previous replies to my query about this UPS, it seems as if the UPS is either faulty or is just an inferior product. In any event, I'm still reluctant to run my PC on it. I'm therefore still only using it for a 60W reading lamp. (The lamp flicks off and on briefly when there's a power failure).

Is it possible to tell how the current is distributed between the lamp and the UPS battery? In other words, if I keep only this lamp on all the time while the UPS is plugged into the mains, is the UPS battery charging up or will it eventually run down? Or isn't it that simple?
