Hey Mobby,
That is great to know if you would tell me how come your computer have 480MB RAM.What i think is
you have 512 ram and 32 MB is shared with your graphics memory.

I can guess that your computer can use 1GB of ram.According to your on board graphic availability,it means it's not that old motherboard.

If you are in India then you can buy a ram of 512 is 2200rs and 1GB in 3300.
What i suggest you buy one GB,because sometime even you have two slots for ram they show 1GB but don't work good.

Better to buy one GB directly and use one slot only.

Even if you want to buy only 512MB ram then buy a same company ram what you have all ready.
otherwise you will face the problem.

By the way give me ten points.

Depends on ur motherboard if u can. Run a program called "Everest" and tell me what u motherboard is, google for it.

512Mb of RAM should cost around 30$, not very much.

But u must ask urself why u want the extra room, is it for games or just running windows applications like Word or Internet Explorer. In either way, getting a new graphics card would help u with gaming more and also with everything else, because ur current graphics cards is taking ur RAM for itself, ur supposed to have 512Mb but its take 32Mb of it for it's own use so ur left with 480Mb. But if u dont game at all, then getting the extra 512Mb would be the most cost-effective solution.
Check ur motherboard and report back, or email me and ill help u there.

First you have to check to make sure what your motherboard will accept. Then find out what type of RAM you are running e.g. mine is running 800Mhz P.C.6400 This is DDR2 RAM on 2x1Gb sticks. You should get 2x512Mb sticks for £100. But make sure they are matched otherwise you'll run into lods of probs with the latencies. You sound like your new to 'modding', so I won't go into 'clocking' your RAM. Good Luck!!
