I've just bought a macbook pro laptop. It came with an airport card built in but that's all I know. I've currently got broadband through an ASDL router. Do I need to buy any extra stuff (airport base??) and do I need to change my account to a specific wireless account? Help me I'm an idiot!!!

The power is usually down for only a few minutes, but lots of valuable work can be lost. Offline work is OK as auto save is used. Is some sort of inverter possible?

I'm looking at CD/DVD drives for a computer, and the upgrade from a 48x CD-RW / DVD-ROM drive is a 16x CD/DVD burner drive. Why is the upgrade from 48x to a lower 16x. What does the 48x and 16x even mean/ stand for?

i recently bought a laptop on ebay as a last resort and it has 2gb hard drive did i get ripped off or liek what is going on with that. i know usually hard drives come in 20 40 or 60 or higher so how did i end up with a 2 GB hardrive and does it exist, im somehow hoping they ment 20 gb and moved a decimal point too far left please any info will help thanks

Her myspace keeps posting bulletins saying stuff like " OMG LOOK AT HER SHE TOTALLY STOLE MY PICS" and then a link that doesnt work after it. Her account seems to post the bulletins automatically and she doesnt realize it until she sees them. Anyone got any advice on how i can help her?

I was trying to print this picture of this logo & it had like a green gecho/lizard thing, and when I printed it the gecho came out a reddish color.

I have downloaded Yahoo! Toolbar w/ the pop-up blocker and recently ran a WinAntiVirus Pro 2006 on my system (got the all go signal). But I keep getting blockups!! I went away for 20 minutes to grab lunch and came back to 26 (!) popups!! Please is there anything else I can use?? Yahoo used to work but for some reason it's not working as good as it used to. Did I download something that AntiVirus didn't catch?? Anyone?? Going insane here!!

I'm looking for a mapping site (similar to Google or Yahoo maps), where I can determine distance along a specified route. For example; Take I-95 North to Route 101 South to Test Rd, etc. An approximate measure can be garnered using multi-leg directions in Yahoo, but I'm looking for something more precise. Most sites defaut to showing only the shortest route, which isn't too helpful when trying to calculated timing knowing the traffic patterns :). Thanks!
