Is cable internet a wireless internet?

if so any of you heard about people being able to log on to your internet and using it for free?

thanks i was cerious not much of a computer person. I have cable and just don't want people using my stuff for free when i pay for it. :)

If you have cable internet the only way it gets wireless is to hang a wireless router off the cable.
