i use nero dvd burning rom and other dvd burning software but they dont play on my stand alone player .They do however play on my computer so the burn worked .Just on my poineer dvr-520h-s player it responds "cant play this disk" i have used varied disk brands and always dvd-r single layer ...help please

Hey since friday i havent been able to sign into my msn account and it is only my account, it keeps coming up with error code : 80004005, ive been to the help site and emailed them, but it is hard with all the mumbo jumbo they use and i dnt understand...plz help me?

I just dropped them in HD>Library>Fonts, does this mean I have installed them properly?

in the fonts book some of them have a dot icon next to them, does htis mean they are not properly activated?

My old computer does not write to CDs but can use floppies. It cannot access internet. The new one can read & write CDs but cannot read floppies. I have a lot of work documents on the old one that I really want to save. Any suggestions?

Morning all,I have a question about Apple PowerBook and Apple iBook. What is the differance between Powerbook and iBook? And which one of them is better to use?

I am considaring investing in one (in monthly installments),for personal use (artwork,website making,graphics,possiblely for college (when I do go back),interent,downloading files,etc..just like I do on my PC currently). I am not sure which one to get with my budget.

that I didn't need that system. I am not a gamer at all and everyone is saying that its good for gamers. I'm just a college student thats sick of having a crappy computer thats slow and freezes up.

My current emachines computer that I've had for 3 years has 2.20 GHz, 40 GB hard drive, 128 MB DDR. It was really cheap but grandma bought it for me so I can't complain.

The XPS 400 that I ordered has 2.80 GHz, 250 GB hard drive, and 1GB DDR2 (is this the memory?) I have absolutely NO CLUE what any of these things mean but it has to be better than what I have. I'm only going to use it for home use for online,research, writing papers etc. NO gaming.

I paid $1212 total. It comes with 19" flat screen, photo all in one printer, security software, spyware and Microsoft works suite 2006.

Did I spend too much for what I need it for? I'm just tired of computer problems and not having enough memory etc. I can cancel it if I did. What do you comp geniuses think? What do you suggest?
