why when i create a dvd using common dvd burning software it wont play?

Question

i use nero dvd burning rom and other dvd burning software but they dont play on my stand alone player .They do however play on my computer so the burn worked .Just on my poineer dvr-520h-s player it responds "cant play this disk" i have used varied disk brands and always dvd-r single layer ...help please

thanks for some replies guys but its not encryption thats the problem or configuration problems i can create a video ts folder convert it to .iso burn it easy using most available software it palys as normal on my comp just my pioneer stand alone dvd player connected to the tv says cant play this disk ...btw other people dvd players do seem to play them :(

YOU HAVE TO "FINALIZE" IT ON THE MACHINE IT WAS BURNT ON BEFORE IT WILL PLAY ON ANOTHER MACHINE.

there are different options in Nero DVD software. make sure that you select the [Make your own DVD - Video] if you hover your mouse above it a tag will appear saying to make a DVD that will play in most players. on the next page for Nero, you can add video files ect.... that is the selection that i use and have no problems with the disks. however if you are attempting to copy commercially prerecorded DVD Movies they some will copy but won't play, they have copy protection.

because nowadays most dvd are equip with some file which won't allow u to copy direct from normal dvd burning software,but don't worry,there are lots of software out there can allow u to burnt protected dvd,check tihs site,lots or expert teach u how to burnt by using different software.

well maybe you should check settings
some bad configured program encrypt and cd or dvd just to played at the pc in question
i presume tha you have two disc drive
just make the disc copier
