I have a question that's always confused me: do people over 60 ever use computers/internet? I always understood they hate the idea of computers and wish they'd never been invented, but I saw this really old guy using one the other day.

I have a fujitsu siemens amilo 1405b it is 18ish months old. I was originally trying to format it because the harddrive had accumilated alot of junk over the months and was rather slow but when I put the recovery disk in the drive and restarted it, it would load up normally I'd ask it to boot from the cd then a blue screen would appear as normal loading some components then randomly it will just turn its self off. I'd try again but to no avail it just doesnt work. I even purchased a new hard drive and tried a fresh install of xp but still it wouldnt work...........help!!!

I found and "played" the demo a week ago but can't find it now for the life of me. It uses arial photography and street-level 360 degree video to simulate driving the streets of NY. I found links posted in Feb, but they go nowhere. Is there a new link, it is down, am I missing something, what's up??????

I have a Fujitsu Lifebook S7010 with integrated Intel Pro Graphics with 64MB shared RAM. I'd like to get a Dell 24" monitor, but obviously the integrated graphics card can't support the resolution. Is there any way that i could get the two to work together? I'm not too keen on getting a whole new PC just so I can have the nice big monitor, so what are my options, if any?

Software for organizing a book collection?
I am trying to help this grandmotherly old woman who, God bless, collects books. Classics for the most part. Everything from Hardy Boys to Zane Grey. She wants a computer program to organize her collection so she can tell what she has, in what condition, and what it is worth. I figure a data base should be fairly easy to set up, but I was wondering if anyone had any recomendations. I should mention that the woman in question types by looking at the keyboard for the letter, looking at the screen to make sure the letter typed was the correct one, then looking for the next, so something without a whole lot of typing is good.

How do you create pop up boxes like those on downloads.com. I am talking about the ones that pop up when you mouse over a donwloadable program, they tell you the file size, number of downlaods, and date added. To see what i mean just go to a download.com and select any of the categories and then select a sub-category and then just leave your mouse on a program without clicking. The pop up will show up. So i really need to add something exactly like this to my site, how do you do it? I really need help with this.
