I want to make sure that my original files stay mp3, and not automatically convert to the itunes format. I want to be able to copy only the songs i want into a separate file, and convert those to itunes format., faving my original. is this possible?

I'd be using a digital still camera, which can take short .avi movies, so the program would need to be able to accept those. Also, I don't want to spend a ton of money on this. $50 or less would be great. I've been using Windows Movie Maker, but it's just not good enough. Don't really care about special effects. I just need transitions, slow down and speed up video, and maybe a few "tracks" or whatever you call them so that I can add in sound or music. Also, I want something that can save the video as a .mpg or some other file like that, as well as to CD or DVD. I had a program that could only save to DVD-R, and that didn't work out too great. Are my specifications too specific, or is there something out there for me?

I found that many application for business purposes (such as accounting, inventory, AP/AR/GL, even includes manufacturing process, CRM) could sharing a similar database schema.

Why nobody try to consolidate together and build a BEST database schema, and everybody follows it, to improve communication among applications? Or we could either build a BASIC Standard database schema, and allow people doing extension from it.

It could save a lot of effort people putting it. These people all are spending time in doing similar job, and still create barrier for applications communicate to each other.

Or, if there is one, please tell me where is it. Thanks.

so i am not quite sure what happened but i did something to my laptop and the next thing i knew my display was no longer in landscape image. instead i had to turn my computer on its side just to look at the screen . i fixed it with system restore but i would like to know what i did so i don't do it again
