mcafee is the best antivirus avaiable till now.free antivirus not sure from where you can download but you can get the copy from your friends.

Yes, and I would HIGHLY recommend AVG. They make a free version, but you have to search there site high and low for it. They also make a trial version, but don't get the trial.

I am happy with my Norton. Havent had virus for 4 years now

i really like Kaspersky a lot, and then "Windows Defender" as an add on...I know Windows Defender is free, dunno about Kaspersky (my friend installed that for free when he fixed my computer)
