No you cant.
But you could use VB.NET, which will have small learning curve for you since you already know VB6.
If you try to open old VB6 projects in .NEt studio , VB6 to vb.NET conversion wizard opens up.

Technically you can write VB6 code, but you can't run or compile it using Visual Studio .NET.

Basically there's no problem to write VB 6 code in VB.Net interface. However, since VB.NET is the enhancement of VB 6, so VB.Net is much more simple than VB 6. The code are easy to understand and VB.Net have more library functions, as well as easier features such as how to connect to database (SQL). in VB 6 we need to do the code to connect to database but in VB.Net we just find the link and click on particular icon. So, in my opinion, VB.Net is better to create the interface using VB.Net. Much easier. =)

VS 6.0 is 1966 Chevy Impala. .internet is clean Mustang :) there are a large type of advantages. a clean technologies, more advantageous typing help, smaller setup information, abode windows platform independency, a more effective acceptable MSDN help, swifter operating, compiling and coding etc. And if you're prepared to develope internet depending software VS.internet is the finest answer.

yes u can write and compile it on Viusal studio.Net
but this doesn't mean that u r writing .Net progrmas ;)
i used to write old ANSI C on the Visual studio .Net pro edition 2003

yep u can write if it don't work on Ur system also there is plug in for it
