I've always had a PC, but have heard great things about Macs and am very interested in switching. Anybody have suggestions or facts so I can match up what is best for me? I really appreciate the help!

we use a proxy server to share our internet connection,problem is, only the PC (proxy server) directly connected to the ISP can use the PC to PC calls and webcam.PCs under the proxy server cant use them.is there a firewall setting i must change or a port that i need to open for the other PCs to use these YM features? HTTP & SOCKS ports are already set in the proxy and both IE & YM are also set to use these ports.did i miss something?

if i'm on the internet for awhile (around 2 or 3 hours), my laptop crashes. all my programs end. then my background and start menu flash on and off. its really weird, any solutions? Thanks, i hoped it made sense.

I have a PC Probe installed on the computer I just built and it is always telling me that my CPU is aroud 65 celcius. It says that this temp. is too much. What is the best way to cool off my processor? I am not overclocking my machine or running very large programs.

I'm in the process of making a (semi-basic) script based on the PHP random function, and I want the text file where the random files are listed to be modifiable without using FTP. With a password and such. I've never had luck with this stuff in the past, so I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction. Thanks!

It's still in Text format, stored as a .java file. How do I compile? I can't find a program anywhere.... I'm not quite understanding this. I understand how to program, but my book is old and it teaches the old JAVAC command from MSDos.

This hasn't happened before today, but when i go to any webpage, certain words will be in blue highlighted, and when i click on it it does a search of it or something. Anybody know how to fix this?

I thought that basic mathematical operations would work, but it did not. I am thinking that if I could convert that character value to an integer and vice versa it would work to do the mathematic operation, but I am not certain if that is even possible. It would probably be in the string library I think?
