- get a hub/ switch and hook up the 2 pc to form a network
- connect 1 pc to the internet, in the internet connection, click properties, check internet connection sharing, then connect

Actually I had this for a few weeks until I got my broadband.

All you need is 2 Wireless PCI cards. Put them in each PC and set up a small Ad-Hoc network. Enable ICS on the PC that connects to the Internet, and voila.

You'll need to set up a basic network between the machines and then turn on connection sharing on the machine that dials up.

Network can be as simple as a USB networking kit.

Though possible, this is alot of work for a terrible speed. Just think how slow your dialup is now, then divide that by two.. Simply not worth the effort.
