Its no differant than a flat pannel LCD, the liquid in the LCD of the monitor is effected by charge, different charges produce different color. The laptop monitor is wired directly into the mother board, unlike a normal monitor which requires a DVI/AGP/S-Video cable to connect into the computer.

it is a thin data cable looks like a hdd data cable which is assed through the joint of laptop monitor and key board just like a flap mobile phone
