Below is a link to circuit city's website. Is this a good deal, $549.99 for this laptop with no mail-in rebates? The only thng I am concerned about is that the processor only has 512k of L2 cache.

We have a main family computer, which has a normail broadband wire connection. I have just got a laptop (wireless enabled) and I want to be able to use the internet on it. My dad however doesn't like me messing about too much with the computer, so I was wondering if there was some way I could put some kind of extension on our present modem to make it wireless for my laptop, while not changing anything on the family computer? I did get a wireless router and try and just go for it, but we've been having a nightmare installing it, so I'm wondering if there is an easier way? Any help gratefully received! K x

Keep in mind qwerty was developed at the same time as the typewriter and doesn't take into account what letters are most frequently used in the english language or damage from repetitive stress injuries. So in this time of wide spread computer use is it really a good idea for qwerty to be the standard for keyboards?

everytime i try to go to a new page it says "this page cannot be displayed." i usually have to click refresh for it to work, but sumtimes the refresh button wont do the trick. i had a hard time tryin to log in to yahoo!answers and will most likely be difficult to submit this question also. do u know whats wrong? i even tried this "SPYBOT Search &Destroy" thing and it still does this!
