Below is a link to circuit city's website. Is this a good deal, $549.99 for this laptop with no mail-in rebates? The only thng I am concerned about is that the processor only has 512k of L2 cache.

Hmm...good question and good point.
well i think its agood deal. normally Acer's are slightly expensive than Dell's. Considering that, this is a good deal for a 15.4'' laptop
Plus Acer's are one of the best in the market too (well if u dont like Mac :) )
I'd go for it....
I'm personally looking to buy a Mac, what do u say :). but the damn thing is expensive...but soo Kool looking.
